- After the E30 in the 80’s and the E36 in the 90’s, BMW had to relaunch the 3 Series with a new generation able to seduce as much as its elders. This is how the E46 was launched in 1998. Two years later, the sporty version, the M3, was released! Here, this E46 M3 is proposed with a special livery in the colors of “BMW Motorsport GmbH”, the subsidiary of BMW specialized in competition and high performance models.
