The Sturmgeschütz III Ausf.A was the first production model of Germany’s now-legendary assault gun series. Developed to provide direct fire support for infantry, the StuG.III Ausf.A mounted a 75mm short-barreled StuK 37 L/24 gun on the reliable Panzer III chassis.
