- During the mid-sixties there were match race wars with the Dodge and Plymouths AWB's battling for bragging rights. Racing down in Abilene Texas, often two best friends would compete. Mr. Tomato driven by Robert Lindquist Sr took on his best friend and his engine builder, Steve DeTar in the Kansas Badman Falcon.
